MUMBAI: The police caught Khar, the mother of a seven-year-old, who had kidnapped his daughter outside a school recently. She had separated from her husband. The police team went to UP to take the girl back with the mother accused.

Police said the girl's father, Naushad Shaikh separated from his wife and his daughter was staying with him. Shaikh recently remarried with another woman. His first wife allegedly kidnapped his daughter recently.


According to Shaikh, July 19 a woman convinced her daughter to accompany her out of school. Khar. Shaikh approached the police in the afternoon when her daughter returned home. The police registered the case of kidnapping in the direction of senior police. The police initially refused to entertain the complaint asserting that it was family conflict.

A police team went to Uttar Pradesh to rescue the girl. Police arrested the biological mother of the victim in the kidnapping case.

Police said they were sure it was not originally a kidnapping case, but a family dispute. "However, approached Shaikh senior officer who asked us for kidnapping reported for investigation. We will inform the court about the details and thus decide course of action out," said an officer.
