BJP MLA's role under scanner in HIV

AHMEDABAD: The role of BJP MLA from Junagadh, Mahendra Mashroo scanner has been in the incident of 13 children who contract HIV through blood transfusion thallasemic last year. This is because the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has named those responsible for blood bank Sarvodaya that persons accused in the new FIR filed at the request of the High Court of Gujarat.

Mashroo is the president of this bank of blood, that is running on the campus of hospital Junagadh government without need for registration. Even the HC raised several questions about the existence of the blood bank in the local government and criticized former research officer - IPS Shobha Bhutada the hard way to go soft with the holders of offices blood banks in their probe.


In its resolution in length, the high court had carefully recorded how the blood bank was operating illegally in the government hospital. The court also noted that despite not being registered, the blood bank was even included in the official website of the state government.

In its FIR lodged with the special court in the city, the CBI has stabilized to all charges above apply in this case by the Gujarat police against the accused for culpable homicide not amount to murder, wounding by venom and instigation.
